Meeting of Twains - Episode 1 - The Coffee Thoughts

Peeps!!! Here I am, back with a most amazing story which is truly surprising to read – as this is the first time where two such different people, who are 2 ends of the world – The gal who loves to paint the world red and the man who looks life with a different angle. A story of two people whose love has fewer words but more feelings!

It was one of those rainy nights and everything around looked beautiful even in dark, soft music and coffee was which kept Pallak awake as she wanted to enjoy the hot coffee since she had some thoughts in the back of her mind. She has recently started her new venture which demands her to meet new clients day in and out, and today was one of the early morning meeting (which she hates) which was still fresh as her hot coffee and that thought is still making her smile.

Before discussing more, let me introduce Palak. A girl who lives in today with a dream of better tomorrow, the one who loves to paint the world with her colors of the soul, she values relationship and people. Been into a corporate career, she has adapted being bold and straight–forward, but her smile is the most contagious (Compliment she always has received). She isn’t beautiful nor she fits In the definition of the ideal beauty, however, she believes in a quote – “She wasn’t much to look at but she was something to think about”. She has been through a lot for almost a decade however what kept her going is her own strength and her own fire to prove her worth – She is kind of 3 am friend which someone really would want to have forever.

So coming back to her thoughts, this morning she met a new clientele- Priyesh for her next project. He stood 6 feet tall with a very simple look but definitely very impressive smile and eyes (which only she could notice). In a 1 hour meeting with the client, apart from the notes that she made for the project she also felt that something was holding her back in that small space. However, she thought probably that meeting was pulled off well and hence she had these thoughts. After the entire day of work when she reached home, the morning memories flashed her mind time and again. Completing the household chores when she sat back with her coffee- Day flashed in front of her and made her blush which was definitely a strange feeling for her,, but with these happy thoughts, she finally went to sleep.

Few days later, there was a celebration of Ganpati in her vicinity, and to her surprise when she reached the place to take blessings, she saw (almost forgotten) Priyesh there. She actually felt like talking to him but he probably was one of the organizers there and hence seemed busy, also she was in a hurry to leave for some work and forgot about him.

Days just passed by, probably both might have crossed paths a hundred times but never realized  of being there or even exist. However destiny definitely had a plan for them and finally, they met again for the discussion of their project in December again. This time, there was surely something more than a meet as he had complimented her for her ‘Social Status” and Pallak was completely blushing. Soon the meeting was done and working on the project together was decided- Cheers!!! is what she wanted to say but she kept herself mellowed down. Walking back home apart from the smile and happiness she felt on her achievement, she also realized that she is going to be associated with one of the intellectual persona who had these intense eyes and a smile which was contagious for her .

With these thoughts, she again cuddled up in her bed tonight again – hoping to have a wonderful association with this client as somewhere down the line she had started to notice him, feel about him which for her was something which didn’t felt in a decade.
