Wings to Affection - Part 6

Ronit and Ishani both were high with loaded sleep in their eyes and therefore they searched for a place to sleep, he had no problem of sleeping in any place thus he occupied space under the tree whereas she had intentions to sleep in a hygienic place and discovery for the same came into existence. Animals are quite active in the dark period making sounds that act as a sign for their presence. These sounds and a lonely feeling brought her next to him because she realized to be safe instead of being in danger. Leaving a little space, Ishani slept parallel to him. Even after being sleepy, she had no mood to shut down her eyes and it’s obvious because Ronit looked cute while sleeping and thereby concentration was too deep. Ronit’s behavior does annoy her but his sleeping face symbolizes him as an innocent guy. Noticing him when he is not aware is only the option for Ishani and in the process, she observed that he is sweating with mild shivering, a shocking one because the island was covered with trees and breeze with high velocity contributed to cool climate.

With no clue what has to be done, Ishani tapped his shoulder and tried waking him up but no response. Then she with her palms sprinkled seawater in his face and,

“Woahh!!, what you are trying to do?’’, with big eyes opened Ronit asks.

''The climate is so chilled and how can you sweat like this?’’, with 2-3 times blinking of eyes Ishani throws a question to him.

''I asked a question and you should answer, instead you are asking a question….’’

''Looks like the framing of your brain is improper.”

''The reason is, forget it. Thank you for helping me to deposit my packets in the seawater”

''I get mild shaking in the body when I am in stress and I don’t get to consume my powder’’

''Oh weak man, you rely on powder for survival, it means the food you don’t consume!’’  

''Annoying crab’’

This conversation highlights how they dislike each other but, you don’t know what happens next. He appreciates the compliments by her and utters ‘you are right’ tapping his left chest. Again back to short sleep, this time Ishani did not sleep facing him though lazed next to him. Ronit was continuously taking turns and was unable to sleep. Irritation caused by him to Ishani now and this moment she got up and started shouting him, ‘’can you stop irritating me!!!!’’. Another moment she paused because Ronit’s face turned to reddish and his eyes were filled with tears as he is not able to control that need of consuming the drug that keeps him chilled. This situation of scarcity of drugs in his life never existed and now he is feeling cold suffering from fever with strong shivering. Ishani ignoring her grudges with Ronit went close to him held tightly so that he feels better as there was no option of making him feel warm. Ronit denied being close to her and pushed but Ishani did not give up. When she locked her hands around him, something crystallized material she felt.
