Beetroot cutlet
Ingredient :-
1 Beetroot
2 Potatoes
4 or 5 tbsp Bread Crumbs
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Green Chilli Paste or red chilli powder
Coriander
½ tbsp Chaat Masala
½ tbsp Dry Mango Powder
½ tbsp Cumin Seeds Powder
Salt to taste
Coarse Semolina
Oil to shallow fry
Method:-
Peel and cut the beet and potatoes into big pieces.
Cook the beet and potatoes into pressure cooker on medium heat until 2 whistles.
Potatoes and Beet should be about 70% cooked.
Grate the beet and potatoes once it cool down.
Add bread crumbs to absorb all moisture from the grated beet and potatoes.
Add all dry spices (dry mango powder,chaat masala and cumin seeds powder).
Add ginger garlic paste and green chilli paste,coriander(You can also add capsicum and onion.It’s optional). Add all spices according to your taste.
Add salt to taste.
Mix everything well together.
Make small cutlets, it should be even and flatten.
Coat the cutlets evenly with semolina .
Heat up oil for shallow frying.
Shallow fry on medium heat until gets nice golden in color.
Flip over and follow the same method for other side.Your cutlets are ready to eat.
Serve the Cutlet with green chutney or any sauce you like.
