Dance - My passion, my life

Since childhood, we all have been looking upon people, personalities, celebrities and so on.  But what we feel happy was always different from what we wanted to be. Little did we know what makes us really happy and it was never our aim in life.

Same was with me being a graduate and housewife I forgot my passion for dance with the change of responsibilities and priorities. Little did I know and feel I could make it my dream as a dancing Guru for many children who want to learn dance.

I had been a performer throughout my school and college days.  Later had given up with the same as time changed and with time I changed too. I always felt happy to dance may it be the Ganpati festival or Navratri Garba. I couldn't resist myself as I felt it was in my blood.

Post my younger one I met with a major accident and was asked to follow an exercise pattern.  So  I started coaching with Bharatanatyam right from scratch. I finished my graduation and doing my post-graduation currently in the same subject. I have my classes running successfully with two branches and 37 students.

What makes me happy is the fact that what was my passion has become my profession now. I couldn't ask for more from God. My students perform at various stages and temples in India.  The smile on the faces of the audiences, my students and their parents when they see their tiny tots perform on the stage keeps me motivated.

I and my partner choreograph for various social causes and different events. It is now our motto to present the classical dance form in the way the masses can connect to. It makes us different from all the other classes.

Thus we connect dance with society and the same keeps us motivated as there are so many changes we want to bring in our society for our future generation to have a safe environment and country to live in.

The appreciations we get from different people and professions in society and parents keep us motivated to achieve our goal to make Indian classical dances famous across the globe.
